I have a used Rotatrim/Saunders Mastercut II. The “rails” are starting to stick and therefore the cutter is not sliding well. Is this fix a clean of the rail? a lube of the rail? with what?

Thank you for your enquiry.
It does sound as though your trimmer needs the guide rails lubricating, we recommend using a silicone based spray, avoid oil based products as these will cause damage to your trimmer. Have a look at the information under “My Rotatrim is making a squealing noise, how do I make this stop?” on our FAQ’s page as this will hopefully provide you with the information you require.
